Why is quality important for on-line companies? How would you increase quality for an on-line business?

If you buy an item and it turns out to be junk, it's difficult to return an online purchase. Would you ever buy anything again from a company that sells junk?

I'd increase the quality by enforcing rigid quality control measures.
