The question does not state the shape of the print. The largest area is made by NOT cutting the moulding and bending the moulding into a circle.
Radius will be 72/2xpi =11.46 cm
Area = pi r^2= 3.142 x 11.46cm^2= 412 cm^2
By comparison if the moulding is cut into 4 equal pieces the area is
18cm^2 = 324 cm^2
