There are all kinds of things you can write about --
-- number of pencils a student has that needs to be divided into groups for each foursome of students in the class
-- number of apples a customer is buying and how s/he will divide them up and why
etc., etc.
Use your imagination. You'll think of something.

He/she needs a multiplication story, not a division story.
5 classmates each have 2 pencils. How many pencils do they have in all?
5 * 2 = 10 pencils
