1/Do + 1/Di = 2/R
Di is the image distance and Do is the object distance. Surely you have seen this equation before, if you have been doing your studies.
1/1 + 1/Di = 2/0.4
1 + 1/Di = 5
1/Di = 4 Di = 1/4 m
The image is demagnified by a factor Di/Do = 1/4
What is 1/4 of 0.2 ?
Di = 1/4 m is the image dstance
