I need help in using the distributive property to rewrite this expression: (7 x 600) + (7 x 400) and then multiply.

Since there are zeros in the tens and ones columns,

(7 * 600 + 7 * 0 + 7 * 0) + (7 * 400 + 7 * 0 +7 * 0) =
4200 + 2800 = 7000
