What was the decrease in the cost of food from 2003 to 2004?

Subtract the 2004 cost from the 2003 cost (as obtained from your graph). The 2004 cost should be lower since they say the cost fell.

I see this same question was asked on answers.Yahoo two years ago, also without a graph.

There was no answer there, either.
