The wave is travelling to the right at 50.0 m/s. What is the amplitude if the maximum displacement is 38.0 cm and the total distance travelled by the wave is 16.0 m.

2) What is the wavelength of the wave?
3)What is the frequency of the wave?

1) The amplitude is the maximum displacement

2) I do not understand what is meant by "the total distance traveled by the wave" The wave keeps on traveling and does not stop. They must be referring to the length of one wave, which would be the wavelength. In that case it is 16.0 m

3) frequency = (wave speed)/(wavelength)
= 50/16 = 3.12 Hz
