I need to find a slope and y intercept of the line and write the fractional answers in lowest terms.
2y+8x+3=12+8x; I would like to try this one and get your input.
2y+8x-8x-12-3;
2y/2 = 9/2; y = 9/2 however I did not find the slope. I don't think there is one in this problem??

If the x term drops out and you have only
y = b , where b is a constant,
then the slope is zero
That is, you have a horizontal line.
Btw, If the y term drops out and you only have x = c left, then you have a vertical line and the slope would be undefined.
