I'm supposed to compare and contrast the Democrat and Republican party. I can't find a good site that just gives this information in black and white. I want statistics and facts, any site ideas?

What should I type into search engines for information on what interest groups support which party more and stuff

Since this is not my area of expertise, I searched Google under the key words "<I>Democrat Republican contrast</I>" to get these possible sources:

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/07/23/wide-divide-between-democratic-and-republican-fields/
In the future, you can find the information you desire more quickly, if you use appropriate key words to do your own search. You might want to continue this search using "compare" rather than "contrast."
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
