In a survey, 480 people or 75% said they attened a movie at least a month. how many people were surveyed?

i don't get how to find the answer

Do you know algebra?
If so, then let the number of people surveyed be x

then .75x = 480
x = 480/.75 = 640


check: take 75% of 640

480/3= 160
160 is 1/4
160 x 4= 640
640 is whole.
