As the Student Coordinator for the Ron Brown Redesign Team’s professional learning initiative, I created and shared surveys about students' mental health and opinions of safety and presented the findings to school community members. I also met every Thursday for one hour with the team to plan, review data, and coordinate presentations. This work is important to me and my community because it demonstrates that adults care about youth opinions and helps address the overlooked issue of youth mental health and safety.
