As National Honor Society President, I led a circle during SEL Day in front of DCPS school officials—including principals, teachers, social workers, and members of the redesign team—where we used our dramatic solution engager to facilitate conversations about ways to help students open up about their hopes, dreams, and fears. This is important to me and the community because creating a safe, empathetic space for students to share their experiences builds trust, helps school leaders understand and respond to real student needs, and strengthens mental well-being and academic success across our school.
