I’m not sure what you mean by “quadtrinet.” Do you mean “quadrant” (the four regions of the coordinate plane), “quadratic,” or something else?

If you mean quadrant (x,y coordinates):
- You do not determine quadrant by adding the two numbers. The quadrant is determined by the signs of x and y:
- Quadrant I: x > 0, y > 0
- Quadrant II: x < 0, y > 0
- Quadrant III: x < 0, y < 0
- Quadrant IV: x > 0, y < 0
- You can add two coordinate pairs component-wise (x1+x2, y1+y2). You can also add the two components of one pair (x+y), but that doesn’t tell you the quadrant except by sign.
