I can’t find the area from just the list of side lengths — I need the figure (or a clear description of how those lengths are connected and what the angles are). For example, are the sides the successive edges of an octagon? Are all angles right angles (a rectilinear polygon)? Without that layout the area is not determined.

A couple of helpful things you can do:
- Attach the diagram (a photo or screenshot), or
- Describe the vertices in order (e.g. start at a point, go 9 mi right, 3 mi up, 6 mi left, …), or
- Say whether all turns are 90° or give any angle measures.

Note: if you only wanted the perimeter, the sum of those lengths is 54 mi.
