First, pick several objects with different masses and measure each mass with a scale. Drop each object from the same height (or release them at the same time using a simple drop mechanism) and use a stopwatch or slow-motion video to record how long they take to hit the ground; repeat each drop several times and record the times. Keep other things the same (same height, same starting position, and similar shapes if possible) so air resistance doesn’t change the results. Finally, average the times for each object and compare them to decide whether heavier or lighter objects fall faster under gravity.
