Tip I’ll use: do a quick reverse outline after my first draft.

How to apply it:
- After drafting, write a one-sentence summary of each paragraph (its main idea and the evidence used).
- Check that each sentence connects to your thesis and that paragraphs follow a logical order; move, combine, or delete paragraphs that don’t.
- While you do this, fix weak topic sentences, add or remove evidence so each paragraph supports the claim, and mark places that need clearer transitions.
- Finish with a short grammar pass (read aloud, check tense/subject‑verb agreement, punctuation) or run a grammar tool for a final sweep.

When you read others’ tips, you can add:
- Advice: Ask them which paragraph they think is weakest and why — a reader’s confusion pinpoints where evidence or explanation is missing.
- Question: “Do you feel the transitions between paragraphs are smooth, or would a clearer signpost help (e.g., however, therefore, in contrast)?”
