If you want to try it yourself first, here are quick steps to determine the succession:

- Identify the single consistent transformation from one frame to the next (rotation, addition/removal of parts, change in shading, movement along a path, growth/shrink, etc.).
- Check the direction and magnitude of that transformation (e.g., rotate 90° clockwise each step, add one dot per step).
- Arrange the images so the transformation is monotonic and repeatable between consecutive images.
- Verify by applying the discovered transformation to each candidate predecessor to see which produces the candidate successor.
- Watch for reversals or reflections (mirror images) that can create distractors.
