It is extremely important that we the people have confidence in the judicial branch because judges and courts interpret laws and protect our rights, so people need to believe those decisions are fair and based on the law. If we don't trust the courts, people might ignore rulings or try to solve problems themselves, which would cause unfairness and make it harder to keep order.
