What impact have executive agencies had on policies to protect the Chesapeake Bay?

Executive agencies are parts of the government that make and carry out rules to protect places like the Chesapeake Bay. They have made plans to reduce pollution, clean up rivers, and restore wetlands so plants and animals can be healthy. They also check water quality, give money and advice to farmers and towns, and make sure people follow the rules. Because of these steps, the Bay is slowly getting cleaner and more wildlife is coming back, but work still needs to continue.
