What impact have executive agencies had on policies to protect the Chesapeake Bay?

Executive agencies are parts of the government, like the EPA, that make and carry out rules to protect the Chesapeake Bay. They set pollution limits, pay for cleanup projects, and check the water to see how healthy it is. These agencies also help farmers, towns, and volunteers plant trees, restore wetlands, and rebuild oyster reefs that clean the water. Because of their work, the Bay is getting cleaner and wildlife is doing better, but people still need to keep helping.
