If you have a zero on a test grade, I will replace it with a 70
If you do not have a zero for a test grade I will replace your lowest test grade and give you a 100
If you have 90s on all of your tests but have low daily grades, I will give you 100s on three of your lowest daily grades (except zeros).
If you have passing grades on your tests and you are happy with those grades but have zeros on daily assigments. I will replace three of those grades with 70s.
If non of the above apply to you and you still want to complete this, come talk to me and we can see how I can give you the points

Great — here’s a complete plan you can follow step-by-step to finish the diorama project and the written component. I organized it to match your checklist (Phase 1 → Phase 3) and included Spanish labels and the required written descriptions ready to copy onto a 3 x 5 index card.
PHASE 1 — BRAINSTORMING, PLANNING, PREPARATION
1) Blueprint (sketch idea)
- Use the shoebox with the open side as the front (a “cross‑section” view).
- Divide the interior into four main sections (left to right, or front/back):
- Sala y comedor (living + dining room) — espacio grande
- Cocina (kitchen)
- Dormitorio principal (master bedroom) with balcón pequeño
- Baño (bathroom)
- Optionally add a small jardín/piscina area in front of the shoebox (use the lid or the outside base).
- If you want a second floor, add a cardboard platform inside as the second level for oficina / cuarto extra.
Label placement suggestion: glue small paper flags on toothpicks with the Spanish word and stick them into foam or clay in each room.
2) Spanish labels (rooms and common items)
Rooms:
Items / furniture:
- el sofá
- la mesa
- las sillas
- la cama
- el armario / el clóset
- la lámpara
- la estufa
- el refrigerador
- el fregadero
- el lavabo
- la ducha
- el espejo
- la televisión (el televisor)
- la alfombra
- la puerta
- la ventana
- el techo
- el piso
3) Supplies list
- Empty shoebox (with lid) — the main diorama box
- Cardboard scraps (for partitions, beds, furniture)
- Construction paper / colored paper
- Glue (white glue + hot glue if available)
- Scissors / craft knife (adult supervision if needed)
- Ruler, pencil, eraser, markers
- Toothpicks and small wooden skewers
- Foam or clay (to stick labels)
- Cotton, fabric scraps, felt (for rugs, curtains)
- Bottle caps, matchboxes, small boxes, straws (furniture & decor)
- Aluminum foil (sink, stove)
- Paint or colored markers
- Clear tape
- Small plastic pieces (toy furniture, beads)
- Index card (3 x 5) for final written draft
4) Steps to create each room (efficient workflow)
General order:
A. Prepare shoebox (paint interior floor/walls, cut any windows/doors)
B. Build room partitions (cardboard dividers glued inside)
C. Make large furniture first (sofa, bed, table) from matchboxes/cardboard
D. Add small details (lamps, pictures, curtains) and labels
Room-specific steps (repeat these steps for each room):
- Sala / comedor:
1. Paint floor (wood color) and one accent wall.
2. Make a sofa from a small box or foam; cover with fabric.
3. Make a coffee table from a bottle cap or cardboard.
4. Add a TV (cardboard rectangle) and a rug (felt).
5. Place label: la sala / el salón.
- Cocina:
1. Paint walls with tile pattern (use marker).
2. Create a stove (cardboard + foil) and a refrigerator (small box).
3. Build cabinets from strips of cardboard.
4. Add a sink (bottle cap + aluminum foil).
5. Place label: la cocina.
- Dormitorio principal:
1. Make bed (matchbox + cotton mattress + fabric sheet).
2. Make armario/closet from a small box.
3. Add bedside table and lamp.
4. Make balcony railing from straws or toothpicks.
5. Place label: el dormitorio principal.
- Baño:
1. Use white paper for tiles.
2. Make lavabo (plastic cap) and ducha (small clear plastic or paper).
3. Add mirror (aluminum foil piece).
4. Place label: el baño.
- Jardín / piscina (if included):
1. Use blue paper/plastic for pool.
2. Green felt or paper for grass.
3. Add small plants from craft moss or cut paper.
PHASE 2 — IMPLEMENTATION (construct + label)
- Step-by-step assembly:
1. Paint the inside of the shoebox (floor and walls) and let dry.
2. Glue cardboard dividers to create rooms as per your blueprint.
3. Build the furniture pieces separately, then glue them into rooms.
4. Add small details (pictures on walls, rugs, curtains).
5. Make Spanish labels: cut small rectangles of paper, write the Spanish word (e.g., "la cocina"), fold and glue to toothpicks or tape to the back wall of each room.
6. Check each label — must be in Spanish.
- Creativity tips (teacher will grade creativity):
- Use recycled materials in interesting ways (e.g., matchbox bed, bottle cap sink).
- Add lighting with a small LED or a shiny foil for windows.
- Make a theme: modern, beach house, tree house, futuristic.
- Add mini people or pets.
PHASE 3 — WRITING COMPONENT (Spanish description)
You must write a description of your house in Spanish using complete sentences, include detailed descriptions of at least two rooms, and put the final draft on a 3 x 5 index card.
Full Spanish description (you can copy this, personalize names/colors/features if you want):
Final draft for the 3 x 5 index card (shorter, 3–5 sentences):
