It also makes scheduling doctor appointments and family events easier, reducing the worry of missing class during the week. While they are many positives to a 4-day school week, they are also some negatives for example, less time students are being tight, this could be a problem but an easy fix to it would be making the school day slightly longer. Another problem that having a 4-day school week might cause is students who in lower income areas who might rely on the meals given during the school day, a solution to this would be to have a optional few hours of school time on fridays, for example school could start at 9;30 and end at 1.
