Dear Editor:

I love our city. We have a beautiful park system, a top-notch school system, and the best restaurants in the state. I am proud to live in a place where the citizens share a love for the environment. We have a recycling program, we encourage each other to use water wisely, and we plant trees on Arbor Day. Every day we do a lot to try to protect our planet. I am just not sure that we do enough. Traffic problems are increasing and our air quality is getting worse. I think we need a bike-share system for our city.

Bike-share systems are popular all over the world. They offer people fast and affordable transportation. Bike-share riders can travel the city without adding to road congestion or air pollution. A bike-share program would improve our city's air quality and traffic problems. It would also promote an active, healthy lifestyle. I think it would be nice to see friends and family riding around town together. We could use the bike-share to get to work, to run errands, or just to enjoy some fresh air. I think it is clear that a bike-share program would be a great addition to our city.

Sincerely,
Bob Lewis
