I don't see I. I see a S, and a B. 1/2 PI is a constant.

Step 1: Flip the equation.
1/2lp+b=s
Step 2: Add -b to both sides.
1/2lp+b+−b=s+−b
1/2lp=−b+s
Step 3: Divide both sides by p/2.
1/2lp = −b+s

l=−2b+2s / p
