My vacation in Miami was so awesome!!! I went with my parents and my little sister. My parents went nuts the first time they saw me wearing my mega, star-shaped shades, haha! The shades looked kinda weird, but I loved them.

Anyway, one time on the beach I tried to do those cool surfing moves they show on TV. But I almost kicked the bucket under those wild waves! I freaked out to the max! Thank goodness a lifeguard came to save me. Whew! After that crazy experience I vowed to keep swimming until I learned to dive like a dolphin.

Oh, and aside from the great beaches, we went to this zoo with tropical birds and this aquarium with turtles, sharks, and killer whales. We also visited an alligator farm and a park with panthers and manatees.

I really miss Miami. You should try spending a summer there, too. It's the coolest vacation spot ever!
