Your paper needs to include the following:

1. The various parts of the criminal justice system: police, sheriff deputies, constables, etc.; courts; and so on.

2. The process -- for example, what happens from the time a person is arrested to ... what? appearances in court? sentencing if found guilty? What else?

3. Definition of "crime."

4. Relationship of "crime" to "law."

5. Define and explain the structures in the government (city? county? state? nation?) through which justice is delivered. (Not confident of that last word, so if you find another that's better, use it!)
