2) Equal opportunity/meritocracy — It’s the belief that anyone, regardless of background, can succeed if they have talent and effort: a fair shot at education, jobs, and advancement.

3) Personal fulfillment/pursuit of happiness — The Dream is about the freedom to choose your own path and create a meaningful, happy life—following personal goals and self‑realization rather than just accumulating wealth.
