I picked topic which is Abuse and the history of the word which is misuse. Please tell me ways to write about this word and what can i compare it to. I have to write the meaning of the word, including its history.

One thing you might try is to list all the words you can think of that have the same base -- "use" -- at this site ~~> http://www.onelook.com/ For example, you can search for <b>*use</b> (including the asterisk). Then go through the list and choose a few related words you want to deal with.

It sounds as though your focus needs to be on the word "abuse," but you can bring in the others to discuss the commonalities among the words that have this same base.
