My biggest area of growth has been my writing skills: I’ve moved from drafting long, unfocused pieces to producing clear, well-structured writing that communicates purpose and audience immediately. I’ve improved my ability to craft strong openings and topic sentences, tighten paragraphs for concision, choose precise vocabulary, and favor active voice, which together make my ideas easier to follow and more persuasive. I’ve also become more disciplined about revision—outlining before I write, soliciting and applying feedback, and proofreading carefully—so grammar and flow are cleaner and my arguments are better supported by evidence. As a result my voice is more confident and adaptable across genres, and I continue to refine these habits to write more efficiently and effectively.
