Create a broadside showing your support for Texas secession. Your broadside will be posted in the streets so make sure it is eye-catching and persuasive. Fellow Texans, vote YES for secession so Texas can make its own laws and protect our farms and trade, because our cotton and cattle economy needs control of taxes and markets to survive; because our frontier location is far from Washington and we must defend our land and borders with leaders who know Texas; and because states’ rights mean Texas should decide what’s best for Texans, not officials who don’t live here. Sam Houston is wrong because he puts loyalty to the distant Union above Texas’ right to govern itself and keep Texans safe. Stand with me — secede to keep Texas strong, free, and prosperous!
