You have been infected with the H1N1 flu virus. Describe how this virus might have entered your body, how it works to make you sick, and what happens when you finally get better. List at least 7 different steps In paragraph form in easy 6th grade simple words

First, the H1N1 flu virus often gets near you when someone with the flu coughs or sneezes and tiny drops float in the air. Second, those drops can enter your body through your nose, mouth, or eyes when you breathe or touch your face. Third, once inside, the virus sticks to cells in your nose and throat like a key fitting a lock. Fourth, the virus then gets into those cells and uses them to make lots of copies of itself. Fifth, as the virus makes more copies, it can damage the cells and this causes your body to send out warning signs. Sixth, those warning signs are what make you feel sick — fever, coughing, sore throat, aches, and tiredness. Seventh, your immune system sends special cells and chemicals to fight the virus and slowly destroy the copies. Eighth, because of that fight, the virus number goes down and your body starts to repair the hurt cells. Ninth, after you get better, your immune system remembers the virus so it can fight it faster if it sees it again.
