#1 - Write a short 5-6 sentence paragraph fictional, in easy simple 6th grader words with no symbols, account about a teenager taking the road test of his or her driving exam from three different perspectives: the teenagers, the road test examiner, and the teenager's parent. Use first person point of view for each one.

I woke up early and felt my heart beat fast. I practiced the turns in my head as I sat in the car. I checked the mirrors and used my signal when the examiner told me to go. I tried to stay calm even when a car came close. I followed the rules and remembered to stop at signs. I hope I did a good job when the test ended.

I watched the teenager from the passenger seat and kept my hands off the wheel. I looked for safe turns correct signals and smooth stops. I counted how many mistakes and wrote notes on my pad. I stayed calm and fair and I told the student what to do. I will decide if they are ready to drive alone.

I sat in the parking lot and tried not to shout. I remembered all the times we practiced on quiet streets. I wanted my child to be calm and to follow the rules. I worried about every turn and every stop they made. I smiled when I saw them wave back after the test. I was proud and I hoped the examiner would say yes.
