Quick guide so you can tell which choice fits:
- Minute hand on the 6 = :30 (media). Minute on the 12 = :00, etc.
- If the minute hand is on the 6 and the hour hand is halfway between 8 and 9 → 8:30 (son las ocho y media).
- If minute on the 6 and hour hand halfway between 9 and 10 → 9:30 (son las nueve y media).
- If minute on the 6 and the hour hand is before the 8 (between 7 and 8) → 7:30, which is "las ocho menos media" (ocho menos media de la tarde = 7:30 PM).
Also tell me whether the clock should be read as morning (mañana), afternoon (tarde) or night (noche) if that’s known.
