Explain why Spain has such a varied climate. A write in two sentence in a 4th grade response.

Spain has many different climates because it is a large country with tall mountains and long coasts on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The seas make the coasts milder and wetter, the mountains make inland places colder and drier, and the islands are often warm, so the weather changes a lot across Spain.
