when you have to divide by a fraction, get first its reciprocal, that is interchange the numerator and denominator:
1/6 --> reciprocal is 6/1
then the operation now becomes multiplication:
1 / (1/6) becomes
1 * 6/1

for the second one, it's almost same with the first, except that it's 1/2 divided by 1/6
