Hi from Nuuk — today was bright but brisk, with a clear sun over the fjord and a cold breeze off the sea. I spent the day hiking across the fragile Nuuk grasslands toward the Sermitsiaq peak, wandered the shoreline of Nuuk Fjord, and visited the Greenland National Museum to learn about local Inuit culture. The tundra blooms were surprisingly colorful — cotton grass, dwarf willows and tiny wildflowers — and we even spotted a few seabirds nesting on the rocks.
