Robert spent 3/5 of his money on stero equipment and 1/6 of the money he had left on lunch. He left the house with $24. How much money did Robert return with?

24*(3/5) = 14.4 dollars (for stereo equipment)
24-14.4 = 9.6 dollars (money left)
9.6*(1/6) = 1.6 dollars (for lunch)

24-(14.4+1.6) = 8 dollars
