I took part in a study group in college. It was a task group because we worked together to prepare for exams and finish assignments. We met twice a week in the library at set times so everyone could plan around classes. Our main goal was to understand the material better and raise our grades by explaining hard ideas to each other. The members mostly got along and were polite and helpful.

Communication in the group was clear and direct. We used simple language, asked questions when we did not understand, and made sure everyone had a turn to speak. Sometimes we disagreed about how to solve a problem, but we would try different methods until we found one that worked for most of us. Overall the group was successful because our grades improved and I felt more confident about the subjects we studied. The experience taught me that teamwork and regular meetings make task groups work well.
