Can some one please help me I had developed jello brain today. Can some one explain to me why the line x = - 2 is avertical line. and what the slope would be for the line. and why its diffenrence for y = -2 . what would the slope be for y = -2. Please I am sinking here.

x = -2 is a vertical line,, since there is no variable y in the equation, x is independent of y, which means, the value of x is constant. to see that it is really a vertical line, get some points:
(-2,-1) , (-2,0) , (-2,1) , (-2,2)
the slope of this is undefined, the formula for slope is:
slope, m =(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
*let's try substituting the first two points*
m = (-1-0)/(-2+2) = -1/0 = undefined
