In common lit, in the story “weight@ by Dhonielle Clayton, what paragraph/line number is the quote “But when did a lie become a lie? Was wanting to love someone else wrong? Was wondering about it the same as not telling Grace the truth?”

I can’t access CommonLit from here, so I can’t look it up directly. I can help you find it quickly — here are two simple ways:

1) Use your browser’s find:
- Open the “Weight” text on CommonLit.
- Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac), paste: But when did a lie become a lie?
- The browser will jump to the exact spot; CommonLit will usually show the paragraph number in the margin or you can count paragraphs from the top.

2) If CommonLit doesn’t show paragraph/line numbers:
- Click the full-text/print view (or expand the story) so you can see the whole piece.
- Count paragraphs from the start (each return/blank line = a new paragraph) and note the number where the quote appears.
- For lines, use the print view and count lines on the page or copy the passage into a text editor and count lines there.
