So, when they tell you what they want, don’t try to outsmart them. Give them what they want!

It may feel thoughtless to you, but it doesn’t to them. According to studies, gift recipients say the most thoughtful gifts are the ones they asked for.

1. Think back over the past few months. During conversations you've had with the person you are buying a gift for, what items have they mentioned they would like?

2. Write down a gift idea each of the people on your list has mentioned.

How to find the product link (quick method)
1. Open your browser and search for the exact item name or a short description plus a retailer (e.g., “Dyson Airwrap official site” or “Instant Pot 6‑quart best buy”).
2. Prefer official retailer pages (manufacturer, Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Walmart, REI, Etsy, etc.). Click the product page that matches model/specs.
3. Copy the URL from your address bar and paste it into the “Product link” field.

How to capture a price screenshot
- Windows:
- Open the product page showing the price.
- Press Windows key + Shift + S to open snip tool; drag to capture the price area. The image will be copied to clipboard—paste into your message or save from the Snip & Sketch notification.
- Or press Print Screen and paste into Paint to save.
- Mac:
- Open page and make price visible.
- Press Shift + Command + 4, drag to select area; the screenshot saves to Desktop. Attach the file.
- iPhone:
- Open page in Safari, show price. For Face ID phones: press Side + Volume Up; for Touch ID: Home + Side. Tap the thumbnail to crop if needed, then Save or share the image.
- Android:
- Open page, press Power + Volume Down (varies by model). Use the edit/crop to keep only the price.

Tips
