The Geosphere

What is the geosphere? The geosphere is what we stand on! The geosphere is the solid ground.



Rocks are part of the geosphere too. Some rocks are plain. Other rocks are full of color.



Minerals are in the geosphere, too! There are lots of minerals. Milk has minerals. Minerals in milk make our bones strong. Another type of mineral is a diamond.



Animals need the geosphere. It is their home. For example, lions live in mountains. Mountains are part of the geosphere.



The geosphere has lots of layers. The layer on top is the crust. Below the crust is the mantle. On the inside is the core.



The geosphere is very important. We need it to live. The geosphere is beautiful.
