I just wanted to make a blog on something I was passionate about, and particularly one that I made money with. And at the time I was into Neopets, so I made a Neopets cheat site and put Google Adsense ads on it.

You need self-motivation. Since no one is telling you how much you need to work, it's sometimes hard to keep up with your business and do as much as you would at a regular job. So set a daily or weekly amount of hours for yourself to complete to keep yourself on track.



What surprised you the most about being an entrepreneur?
How quickly my Web site became popular! With a few search engine tips and tricks to get me to rank high in Google for preferred keywords relative to my content, I was making $1,000 a month at 15 years old.



And before I knew it I was getting noticed by people and invited to speak at blogging and marketing conferences, and getting interviewed by magazines and even being on live TV.



What qualities does a successful entrepreneur need to have?

Self-motivation, determination, courage, perseverance, and passion.



What are your future goals for your company and for yourself personally?

I'm looking to sell my site for a large amount of money in the future, and create more Web sites with bigger potential for making bigger amounts of money.



I also am going to turn my press blog ChloeSpencer.com into a personal blog and vlog and get it completely re-designed.



Do you have advice for teen entrepreneurs who are just starting out?
Make sure you keep being passionate about your business. When you lose interest, your business loses money and customers, and most of all quality. A successful business is run by someone who is passionate about it and who loves what they do.
