joshua had 5/6 of a tank of gas when he started his trip. if he used 1/10 of what was there what part of a tank was left at the end of the trip?

since 1/10 was consumed, 9/10 was not used,, therefore:
(5/6)*(9/10) = 3/4

so there,, :)
