use the identity
cos 2A = 2cos^2 A - 1 or 1 - 2sin^2 A
cos (2 theta) = 2 - 2 sin^2 (theta)
1 - 2sin^2 Ø = 2 - 2 sin^2 Ø
uh uh!
1 = 2 ????
your equation has no solution, (unless you have a typo. Check it please )
