Resilience: Which character showed the most resilience? What did
they do that impressed you?

Littlefoot. He faces the biggest losses and dangers yet keeps going — emotionally and physically — and grows into a caring leader because of it.

What he does that impressed me:
- He survives the traumatic loss of his mother early in the film and, instead of shutting down, uses her memory as motivation to keep moving toward the Great Valley.
- He repeatedly takes responsibility for guiding the group through deadly obstacles (storm-swept plains, predators like the Sharptooth, treacherous terrain) even when he’s small, tired, or scared.
- He balances courage with compassion: he keeps trying to bring the others along, listens to them, and helps them when they’re afraid or hurt.
- He overcomes self-doubt and setbacks — persisting after being separated, boxed in, or discouraged — and ultimately leads the herd to safety.

That combination of emotional strength (grieving but not giving up) and steady action under pressure is what makes his resilience stand out. Cera is a close second — her stubbornness turns into growth — but Littlefoot’s journey is the clearest example of resilience.
