in a bag of red and black jellybeans, 136 are red and the remainer are black jellybeans. If 15% of the jellybeans in the bag are black, what is the total number of jellybeans in the bag?

if 15% are red , then 85% must be black

.85x = 136
x = 136/.85 = 160
