I am writing to let you know that my daughter, Tia , has been ill with the flu (severe). She is still improving day by day, but may need to limit her participation in class.

Please excuse her from in class participation and from any assignments she misses while she regains her health. Tia will make every effort to complete and submit all missed assignments and assessments diligently as she is able. I have already submitted Tia’s absent notification form along with her physician note.
