Heavenly Father, we lift up to You our brothers and sisters who live each day under the constant threat of persecution; surround them with Your presence, give them peace that passes understanding, and let them know they are not forgotten. Fill them with courage and wisdom to endure hardship, grant them protection for their bodies and minds, and provide safe places, faithful friends, and just advocates to stand with them. Comfort the grieving, heal the wounded, strengthen families and congregations, and pour out Your sustaining grace so their hope remains steadfast. Use their witness for Your glory, turn oppression into opportunities for love, and hasten the day when all injustice is ended. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and strength—Amen.
