Make a drawing for this one. It's a very easy way to do it. Draw a dot where they both take off and then label distances apart..and keep adding the distance until you get to 1605.

52+55=107
Plane A
52/107*1605=780
Plane B
55/107*1605=825
check: Plane A + Plane B
=780 + 825
= 1605 Which is miles
